1990 Acquired Dialight Corporation and presumably the other parts of the electronics division of Cambridge Electronic Industries such as Belling Lee Ltd, Cambridge Capacitors Ltd, CRL Components Holdings Inc., CRL Components Inc., and PED Ltd[1]
1992 PED merged with Belling Lee, a manufacturer of fuses, fuse holders, filters and connectors, to form BLP Components. BLP became part of the Dialight plc group of companies.
1994 Acquired Solartron
2000 After receiving a number of enquiries from private equity groups, Roxboro shelved its plans to take the company private; Dialight, the US subsidiary, was responsible for about half of the profit of the group[2]
2005 The Roxboro Group sold one of its main businesses, Solartron, in order to focus on its applied LED technology business, Dialight. [3]
