1896 Company founded.

Began making gas street lights in 19th century Germany.

Investigated other combustion needs and developed new gas mixing products.

The company expanded throughout the world - presumably Selas Gas and Engineering Co in Britain.

1930 sold its first radiant burner, followed later by heat processing furnaces.

Manufacturing facilities in the United States, Germany and Japan

2005 Purchased by Lionheart Ventures.
