1901 Launch of the second Celtic, a White Star Line steamship built by Harland and Wolff.

Length 700 ft; Breadth 75 ft; Depth 49 ft; Weight 20,880 tons

1901 April 4th. Launched from the slip built for the SS Oceanic; at launch she was the largest ship in the world, the first over 20,000 tons.
