Built for The Atlantic Transport Line by Harland and Wolff.

1924 "On Monday morning last the Minnetonka, the latest liner to the added to the fleet of the Atlantic Transport Line, Ltd, London, arrived in King George V. Dock on the Thames. She was built by Harland and Wolff at Belfast and her importance is enhanced by the fact that from all appearances she will prove to be the largest British ship completed and put into service during 1924. By the courtesy of the owners, a large party of guests joined the liner at Plymouth on Sunday and accompanied her to London, and it is therefore possible for us to speak with first-hand knowledge of the ship, her accommodation and her arrangement of propelling and auxiliary machinery...
