Saul's Bridge, Witham
in Witham, Essex
This was the third cast iron arch bridge designed by William Cubitt and cast by Ransome and Son. Cast in 1814, it is the oldest cast iron bridge still in use in Essex. It carries a road aross the River Brain. It was built in the year after Cubitt's Brent Eleigh Bridge and Clare Bridge[1]
