1914 Established in 1909 by Andrew J. Critten, the present principal. Premises: Cover about 135 feet by 40 feet. Staff: About forty (increasing). Specialities: Ladies', Gentlemen's and Children's Knitted Coats, Scarves, Hose, &c. Trade Mark: "Southwold Homeknit " with shield, " E.S." and Motto, " Defend the ryght."
