1843 Sale Notice: CAPITAL MALTHOUSE, In Stratton-street, St. Paul's, Bristol.
To be Sold by Private Contract, with possession at Michaelmas next,—
All that substantial. MALTHOUSE, situate in the parish of Saint Paul, in the City of BRISTOL; consisting of three Working and two Storage Floors (one of which is conveniently fitted up with bins, screens, &c.), measuring in length 93 feet, and in breadth 76 ft., or thereabouts, and possessing every accommodation for carrying on the Malting Business on a most extensive scale. And also all that excellent STEAM-ENGINE, lately erected in the said Malthouse for the purpose of supplying the same with water; together with the Hoisting Gear and Apparatus thereto belonging.
And also the benefit and advantage of certain Leases of two Messuages and Gardens, situate and being Nos. 8 and 9 in Newfoundland-street, in the parish of Saint Paul aforesaid, the Gardens of which respectively abut against and adjoin the Malthouse.
