Stuart Russell Proctor (1895-1985) A.F.R.Ae.S.

1895 born Warlhill, Yorks.

Educated at Charterhouse; City and Guilds Engineers College, Finsbury.

Experimental engineer, R.A.E., Farnborough

1916 joined R.F.C.

1917 Promoted Captain, Technical Dept., Air Ministry

1921 joined Armstrong Siddeley Motors, Ltd., as foreign representative

1927 formed Godfrey and Proctor, Ltd.

1950 joined H.R.G. Engineering Co as Technical Director

1985 Died in Hirseheath, Cambs[1]
