1994 Renamed Cowie Group. The group owned many motor car dealerships as well as car rental business and a few bus operations including Grey-Green, Leaside Bus Co

1995 Acquired South London Transport Ltd

1995 Cowie Group PLC, a diversified transport group which operates franchised bus services in London, held 4 per cent of the UK bus travel market.[1]

1996 Acquired British Bus, North East Bus and County Bus, making the group a leading bus operator. Continued to expand the dealerships and the motor hire operations.[2]
