1876 Dissolution of the Partnership between Thomas Freeman Firth and John Wrigley Willans, under the style or firm of Firth, Willans, and Co., in the business of Manufacturers of Brussels and Tapestry Carpets, at Clifton Mills, near Brighouse, in the county of York. The business was carried on by Thomas Freeman Firth alone, under the style or firm of T. F. Firth and Co.[1]
1889 The company was registered on 27 April, to take over the business of the firm of the same name, carpet and other textile fabric manufacturers at Heckmondwike and other places. [2]
