1936 Incorporated as a public company with shares traded[1]

1936 Factories in Hull made artificial stone and joinery

1946 Acquired an interest in Woolaway Constructions Ltd, a firm which had patents on a form of prefabricated housing. The company had also developed its own form of prefabricated house, the Newland house, based on concrete panels[2]

1947 The company was waiting for the government's decision on the price put on the company's Newland houses.

1948 Tarran Industries changed its name to Myton Ltd[3]
