1922 Engineers and Ironfounders. Manufacturer of railings, gates, repetition castings and cable making machinery.

Then became an instrument maker and aluminium and zinc diecaster:

  • The "Speedy" moisture tester (display at Caudwell's Mill, Rowsley, Derbyshire).
  • "Taco" textile beams and flanges[1]:

By 1961 was part of Burco Dean which opened a new factory for the "Taco" diecasting division[2]

Later Vulcan Works at Burnley were occupied by Carter and Co (Nelson)
