Deptford, Kent, then of No. 5, Clark's-terrace, Lewisham-road, Deptford, Kent, and carrying on business at No. 28, Ironmonger-lane, Cheapside, London, with George Guerard Lawrence and Henry Bailey, under the style of T. H. Thompson and Co. for the sale of Thompson's Patent self-acting and cleansing Effluvium Trap and Watercloset Ball Valve, and Registered Equimotive Blind Roller, then of No. 7, Blackheath-hill, Greenwich, Kent, and late of No. 8, Lovegrove-place East, Greenwich, Kent, Civil Engineer and Patentee of the aforesaid Inventions, occasionally during the time using, and known by the name of Harcourt Thompson.'[2]
