Thomas Hodgson Appleby (1826-1899) of Appleby Brothers.

c.1826 Born

1851 Living in Eckington, Derbyshire (age 25 born Sheffield), a Clerk in Iron Foundry. With his mother Emma (age 48 born Sheffield). One servant. [1]

c.1859 Joined his brother Charles in business in London as Appleby Brothers

1867 Married Frederica Hughes, eldest daughter of W. H. Beacon Wilkinson [2]

1876 T. H. Appleby left the partnership with his brother, as Engineers, at Emerson-street, Southwark, Surrey, under the style or firm of Appleby Brothers. Charles James Appleby carried on the business under the same style of Appleby Brothers[3]
