c1804 Born in Todmorden. Presumably one of the sons of John Lord; of Lord Brothers

1851 Thomas Lord, 47, partner of 5, machine maker and cotton spinner, employing 59 men and 3 boys in mechanics, and 5 men, 7 boys and 24 females in cotton mills, lived in Todmorden with Grace Lord 48, Martha Lord 24, Sarah Lord 21, Elizabeth Lord 14, William Lord 12, Alice Lord 10[1]

1854 Thomas Lord, formerly of Bank Top, Todmorden, in the county of Lancaster, Schoolmaster, at the same time carrying on business in copartnership with Samuel Ward Walton, as Sizers, under the style or firm of Walton and Lord, afterwards of Church-street, Todmorden aforesaid, Schoolmaster, and carrying on business at Bacup, in the said county, in copartnership with John Lord and Simeon Lord, as Cotton Warp Sizers, under the style or firm of Lord Brothers, and late of Church-street, Todmorden aforesaid, out of business (sued with John and Simeon Lord), was brought before the Court under the Act for the Relief of Insolvent Debtors[2]

1861 Thomas Lord 57, machine maker and cotton spinner, lived in Todmorden, next door to Edward Lord, with Grace Lord 58, Elizabeth Lord 25, William Lord 23, Alice Lord 20[3]

1866 Died in Todmorden[4]
