1851 Living at 32 Hollis Croft, Sheffield: Thomas L. Stevenson (age 43 born Kirkstall), File manufacturer employing 76 men, 12 women and 35 boys. With his wife Hannah Stevenson (age 45 born Sheffield) and their four children; Frederick Stevenson (age 14 born Sheffield); Mary Ann Stevenson (age 11 born Sheffield); Emma Stevenson (age 6 born Sheffield); and Samuel Stevenson (age 4 born Sheffield). One servant.[1]
