Engineering Plant. J BUCKLEY SHARP is instructed by Mr. Thomas Metcalf, declining tool making, to Sell by Auction, at the above Works, on Friday, May 31st, 1867, at 11.30 a.m.. the following valuable TOOLS, nearly the whole of them quite new, some never having been worked, and having been prepared for his regular trade:- One planeing machine, to take in 8 feet long, 3 feet 2 inches wide, and 3 feet deep, self-acting, with two independent cutter-heads; one self-acting slide lathe, 8in. centres and 9ft. bed, with self-acting surfacing motion, counter shaft, &c.; one self-acting slide and screw cutting lathe, 7in. centres, and 8ft. gap bed, with counter shaft, &c., complete; four double-geared hand-lathes complete, with rests, counter shafts, &c., complete; two single speed ditto ditto; one large VICE BENCH and six pairs vice; the whole of the models, sundry castings, chisels, steel and other tools, stocks, taps, dies, and the whole of the implements used in the business.
