1840 Death. 'On Friday last, at his house, Pelsall, Mr. Otway, of the firm of Otway, Winnington, and Co., Goscote Foundry, near Walsall. As a kind father, sincere friend, and an upright man, his death will be long and sincerely deplored by all who enjoyed his friendship.'<ref>Aris's Birmingham Gazette - Monday 16 November 1840</ref>
