c.1811 Born in St Ives, Cornwall

1858 With James Mather proposed a machine for paying out the Atlantic Cable without damage.[1]

1861 Thomas Richards 50, engineer, lived in Woolwich with Peggy Richards 61, Elizabeth Ann Richards 20[2]

1871 Thomas Richards 61, retired pattern maker, lived in Woolwich Dockyard with Margaret Richards 63[3]

1886 Died; buried in St Ives[4]
