Thomas Sabberton (c1810-1879) founder of the firm that became Sabberton Brothers

1851 Living at Thorp Road, Norfolk: Thomas Sabberton (age 41 born Norwich), Master Blacksmith employing 3 men. With his wife Emily Sabberton (age 39 born Norwich) and their eight children; Charles Sabberton (age 18 born Norwich), Blacksmith's Assistant; Emily Sabberton (age 17 born Norwich); Thomas Sabberton (age 15 born Norwich, Thorp), Blacksmith's Assistant; Edward Sabberton (age 13 born Norwich, Thorp); Elvina Sabberton (age 11 born Norwich, Thorp); Elizabeth Sabberton (age 9 born Norwich, Thorp); Frederick Sabberton (age 5 born Norwich, Thorp); and George Sabberton (age 2 born Norwich, Thorp).[1]

1879 May 2nd. Died age 70.[2]
