Born in Ecclesall, son of John and Sarah Tyzack

c.1812 Thomas went into business with his brother William

1822 Thomas and William Tyzac (sic), manufacturers of saws, patent scythes, busks and doctors for calico webs, of South Street, Sheffield (Home: Sharrow Lane)[2]

1825 William went into business for himself; Thomas presumably continued as Thomas Tyzack

1837 Thomas Tyzack, saw, busk and calico web manufacturer, of Sharrow Lane, Sheffield[3]

1841 Thomas Tyzack 60, farmer, lived in Norton, with Elizabeth Tyzack 55, Ruth Tyzack 20, Ann Tyzack 15, Benjamin Tyzack 13[4]

1851 Thomas Tyzack 71, saw manufacturer and farmer, lived in Nether Hallam, with Elizabeth Tyzack 69, Ruth Tyzack 53[5]
