Thomas Wills Rust (1805-1871), optician

1805 Born son of Ebenezer Rust, mathematical instrument maker, and his wife Elizabeth Wills, in Aldgate, Middlesex[1]

1838 his father in Greenwich

1840 of the Minories, optician, gained the Freedom of the City of London by redemption.[2].

1842 Dissolution of the partnership with William Browning as Spencer, Browning and Rust

1843 Married Anna Clarissa Hobson in Wellinborough[3]

1851 Thos W Rust 43, worsted spinner, lived in Leicester with Anne C Rust 29, Clara Rust 2[4]

1871 Died in Leicester[5]
