1901 Joint venture by J. I. Thornycroft and Co and Hawthorn, Leslie and Co [1]

A design of boiler that was made of sectional - or elemental - and nonsectional types, the former the conception of Mr Marshall of R. and W. Hawthorn, Leslie, and Co., Limited, of Newcastle, and the latter the Thornycroft plan.
