Lord Carlisle's works, at Tindal Fell, in Cumberland, was an early mineral railway for the extensive colleries and lime works.

Also known as Lord Carlisle's Railway, the Tindale Fell Railway, the Midgeholme Railway, the Hartleyburn and Brampton Railway and simply the Brampton Railway.
