WE have to record with regret the death of Mr. Tom Craven, who for half a century was an active partner in the firm of Gresham and Craven, Ltd., of Manchester , which was founded by his father. He was also for many years a director of Beyer, Peacock and Co., Ltd. He was eighty-three years of age, and although he had lived in London since his retirement, he used for a time to make regular visits to the works.
