1960 London registered Venezuelan oil producer. Controlled Golden Eagle Company of Canada which was going to build a small refinery[1]

1961 Plans to build a refinery in Panama[2]

1971 Their Californian refinery was leased to Carson Oil Co; the new refinery in Quebec was under construction[3]

Built up North Sea oil and gas production interests

1987 Sold its British petrol stations to Kuwait Petroleum[4]

1988 Acquire modern refinery in Los Angeles[5]

1991 Acquired by Lasmo which then put the US refining and marketing business for sale[6]
