2004 Unit Engineers and Constructors Ltd was established

2004 Unit Engineers and Constructors acquired Unit Superheaters, bringing together fabrication, mechanical construction and maintenance expertise with specialist engineering services.

2009 Unit acquired the project, turnaround and bundle-pulling division of Motherwell Bridge.

2010 the Unit Group acquired Birwelco from Haden Freeman, adding engineering design, global project management and procurement and patented flare systems, to create one of the UK’s only true EPCM contractors. The combined unit was named Unit Birwelco.
