1926 Business included provision of financial service to the engineering and allied trades, especially the motor industry[2]

1928 Had been providing hire-purchase finance for industry for 10 years including purchases of motor cars from the leading manufacturers[3]

  • Industrial and Commercial, including engineering, rental and maintenance of railway wagons, short-term hire of road and other constructional vehicles, a computer bureau, storage systems.

The business and branch network of British Wagon Co was being integrated with UDT's existing activities.
