The British subsidiary of the American company, Universal Oil Products Inc

Bostrom was the Northampton-based division of Universal Oil Products.

Manufactured and supplied foam moulded materials for lorry and tractor seating.

1974 Semi-rigid foam developed for use in energy absorbing structures for other vehicles. Uses were developed for use on front and rear bumpers of Lotus Elites that were exported to the USA.[1]
