The whole of the very valuable Stock in Trade, Steam Engine, excellent Lathes, and other Effects, the property of MR. EDWARD COLEMAN, Ironfounder, a Bankrupt, on the premises, Vauxhall Foundry, Leicester;

'Comprising an excellent 14-horse power portable steam engine, fixed on stones, with boiler, feed, steam pipes complete, Boulton and Watt's principle, a wrought-iron wheel race to fly wheel for ditto; two sets of machinery for turning railway wheels on their own axles; a blacking and coal dust mill; a strong lathe on oak bed, fixed on stones, shafts, wheels, drums, &c. a wrought iron long shaft, with wheels; a blowing fan, fixed on stones, with shafts, drums, with about 60 yards of 9-inch brick flue to the same, leading to foundry, and cast pipes to smiths forges; a very superior srong heavy lathe, for turning railway wheels with metal bed, heads, 2 face plates, 2 cast hollow spindles, and boring rods with cutters, wheels, shafts, &c complete; cast-steel turning tools for ditto; 2 very strong double slide rests for ditto, shafts, drums, &c. ; a self-acting slide lathe on metal bed. 11ft. long, and 10 1/2in. wide, with driving shaft, speed-pullies, complete ; steel lathe tools for ditto, iron mandrills; double slide rest; small lathe on metal bed, with heads, rest, driving shafts, and speed pullies; press drills; work benches, with vice, hand pipes and screw; grinding stone and frame, with shafts and drums ; a quantity of stocks, taps, and dies, various threads; smiths' forges, with the irons, blow pipes, slack troughs, and tools; wrought iron crane ; foundry crane, with blocks and chains; ...... a plate, with cast and wrought screw, for rounding railway hoops, (very good); cast plate and wrought hoop for shoeing railway wheels: a quantity of good patterns, iron, lead, and wood; furnace for heating (plates, hoops, &c), lined with fire bricks ; cast mouth pieces and plates; gas fittings; .....'[1]
