c.1911 Company incorporated[1] by Mr. R. F. S. Venner, Mr. R. C. Graseby and Ernest Edward Sharp in succession to the Venner private company

1937 Public company launched[2].

By 1953 the parent company was Venner Ltd; Venner Electronics was a wholly-owned subsidiary; accumulator development was progressing; the company had been responsible for most of the "Belisha Beacons" installations in the UK; foreseeing an opportunity in the UK, the company had acquired exclusive rights to an American design of parking meter[3]
