1939 Company made public. The company made pit tubs, light railway plant, welded steel work, boilers and a variety of other products[3]
1949 Arthur Dyson M.I.C.E. was chairman in place of Albert Weddell who had recently died[4]

1960 Advert. Equipment for the mining industry. [5]
1961 Colliery, light railway and mechanical engineers, and welded fabrications in mild and stainless steels and light alloys. Products include colliery tubs and mine cars, "Ixion" precision roller bearings and roller bearing wheels and axles, safety couplings for mine cars, light railway wagons, colliery air pipes and pit cages in steel and light alloys, hydro-mech tipplers, oil fired heaters and heatwave radiant panels. 550 employees. 1969 Had a subsidiary Allen Ygnis Boilers Ltd[8].
1970 The company was involved in central heating and engineering; the Allens of Tipton subsidiary had made a loss[9]
1981 Reported collapse in demand for oil and gas fired boilers and air heaters[10]
1985 Stone Interational agreed to acquire most of the assets of the company and its subsidiaries from the receiver[11]
