WALTER BEESLEY, born at Dulwich on the 28th November, 1864, died on the 8th November, 1910.
Trained under his father, the late Mr. Frederick Beesley, in the sanitary branch of the profession, he was subsequently engaged, with his father and later as senior partner in the firm of Beesley, Son and Nichols, in the design and construction of water-supply and sewerage systems for many towns in England, Brazil, and South Africa, the works including Chertsey, Leatherhead, Newmarket, Worcester, Rio de Janeiro, Manaos, Campos, Lourenpo Marques, and Kalk Bay.
Mr. Beesley was elected an Associate Member on the 9th January, 1894, and was transferred to the class of Members on the 16th December, 1902.
