1869 December 31st. Died. 'Dec. 31, at Funchal, Madeira, aged 32, Walter Knox, late president and general manager of the Great Indian Peninsula Railway, Bombay, and formerly district superintendent of the London and North-western Railway, Birmingham and Liverpool.'[2]
