WWII Manufactured parts for the De Havilland Mosquito [1]

1975 Walter Lawrence Group came to market by a placing of shares; the major business within the group was Walter Lawrence and Son, which was engaged in construction of commercial, industrial and civic buildings; also had joinery and engineering interests[2]

1977 Bought an interest in Econa[3]. Acquired Nico Manufacturing Co[4]. Sold some of its stake in Econa in order to fund acquisition of Latham and Owen[5]

1980 The group's manufacturing interests were Gordon Tools and Sheffield Steel Products; these had made losses in the half-year[6]

1987 The manufacturing businesses were sold to Christy Hunt[7]

1992 Acquired by Raine Industries[8]
