- This 9.75 mile line was opened 1903 and ran from Welshpool to Llanfair Caereinion. [1]
- 1899 The company was incorporated under the Light Railways Act 1896.
- 1903 The line, 9 miles in length, was opened in March and is worked by the Cambrian Railways. [2]
- 1923 Became part of the Great Western Railway. [3]
Now a preserved railway.
