Whitehead, Thomas Bar and Strip Company, Redbourn Works, Scunthorpe

1933 Jointly-owned company formed by Whitehead Iron and Steel Co and Richard Thomas and Co[1] to operate a finishing mill at Redbourn, which was equipped by transferring the semi-continous mill from Whitehead's Tredegar works[2]

1951 Nationalised under the Iron and Steel Act; became part of the Iron and Steel Corporation of Great Britain[3]
