Makers of textile machinery and plant for the sewage treatment industry.

A small steam engine is on display in Burrs Country Park, Bury, Lancashire.[1]

2003 Photo here showing a sewage ram pump at Sandbeds Sewage Works, Todmorden, made by Whitehead and Poole Ltd. The original pump was steam powered, converted to electricity in 1926.
