1911 Private company formed - see Wildt and Co

1946 Company made public.

1949 Wildt and Co was acquired by Bentley Engineering Co[1]

Presumably Wildt and Co was combined with Mellor, Bromley and Co, another subsidiary of Bentley Engineering

1956 Reconverted to private, presumably when became part of Sears Holdings

1958 Name changed.

1961 Manufacturers and merchants of hoisery and knitting machines, also manufacture knitted fabric. 1,500 employees. [2]
