1916 Obituary [1]

WILFRID PEYTO UNWIN, born on the 29th August, 1876, died on service on the 16th May, 1916.

After gaining practical experience on the London and North Western Railway, he obtained, in 1899, an appointment on the staff of the Uganda Railway, where he was engaged until the outbreak of the war.

Returning home, he was given a commission in the Royal Irish Rifles.

He was elected an Associate Member on the 2nd December, 1902.
