1848 February 27th. Born at Manchester the son of John Allen and his wife Hannah Goreby

1881 Living at 32 Warburton Street, Salford: William Allen (age 32 born Manchester), Metal Broker. With his wife Agnes Allen (age 26 born Manchester).[1]

1898 May 7th. Died.

1898 July 4th. Probate. William Allen of 53 Stanley Street, Cheetham, Manchester and of Port Street, Manchester, metal merchant and machinery broker who died 7th May 1898 at 7 Coronation Walk, Southport to Francis William Burn, mercantile agent.
