1840 Married at Great Haseley, Oxon., to Lucy Long

1871 Living at Duryard, Cowley Bridge Road, Exeter: William Barnes (age 54 born Exeter), Banker and Landowner. With his wife Lucy and three children.[2]

1881 Living at Great Duryard: William Barnes with his daughter.[3]

1891 Living at Great Duryard: William Barnes age 74 born Exeter), Banker and J.P., Widower.[4]

1892 January 21st. Died. Of Great Duryard, Exeter. Probate to Samuel Barnes.
