William Bernard Shurrock (1893-1933)

William Bernard Shurrock was born in 1893, and studied at the Birmingham Technical School, his apprenticeship being served with Wolseley.

During the whole of his subsequent career he remained with the firm, first as Laboratory Assistant in the Experimental Department, and later in charge of the Physical Laboratory.
