1811 advert: 'IRON FOUNDERY. W BOOTH, from Manchester, respectfully informs the Public, he has commenced Business at No 59, Union-street, Belfast, where he Casts all Kinds of MILL and MACHINERY WORK under 10 Cwt.; Cart Bushes of all Sizes, on the Scotch Plan; — also Kitchen, Parlour, and Room Grates, the first of which, are entirely on a new Construction, including a Boiler from 15 to 30 Gallons, with Oven of the same size, with uniform ornamented Fronts, the whole heated from one fire of the ordinary size, without destroying any of its general usefulness, and with little or no trouble.— He also makes Ovens on the English Plan, and will warrant them good and handsome, if not superior, to any ever yet imported. As he has got a complete Set of the newest ornamented Patterns from England, superior to any ever offered to the Public in this part of the Kingdom, he flatters himself, he is able to serve those who may favour him with their Orders, with Articles of usefulness and elegance, superior to any made in this part of the Country, and on reasonable Terms. An apperentice wanted to the above Business.
