William Copperthwaite (1809-1890)

1838 Birth of son Harold Copperthwaite

Up to 1854 he was chairman of the Malton and Driffield Railway, and when it was absorbed into the North Eastern Railway he became a director until January 1889 when he resigned due to ill-health
