1911 Living at 62 Clarkehouse Road, Sheffield: William Frederick Beardshaw (age 53 born Sheffield), Managing Director - Steel Company - Employer. With his wife Helene Beardshaw (age 44 born Lille, France - British by parentage). Also his niece Mary Eleanor Marples (age 9). Two visitors. Two servants.[1]

For three years he was President of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce
