William Hutchinson Mann (1859-1926) of Mann's Patent Steam Cart and Wagon Co

1859 April 22nd. Born in Leeds the son of William Mann and his wife Elizabeth. Brother of James Hutchinson Mann and George Hutchinson Mann

1871 Living at Lewis? Street, Potter Newton, Yorkshire (age 11 born Leeds). With his mother Elizabeth (age 33 born Sheffield), a widow, and his siblings Annie E. (age 8), James H. (age 10) and George H. (5 born Canada). One servant. [1]

1881 Living at 2 Eva Villas, Potter Newton, Yorkshire (age 21 born Leeds), Mechanical Draughtsman. With his brother William H. (age 21 born Leeds), Mechanical Draughtsman, Annie E. (age 18 born Leeds) and George H. (age 15 born Montreal, Canada), Mining Engineer's Apprentice. [2]

1892 Partnership dissolved between John Samuel Pullan, William Hutchinson Mann and John Gill, Holbeck. Engineers. [3]

1901 Living at 2 Crag Villas, Weeton (age 41 born Leeds), Mechanical Engineer and Employer. With wife Alice J. (age 33 born Pannal, Yorkshire) and children Basil S. (age 5) and Sylvia A. (age 1). Also cousin Hannah J. Berson (age 18) and a visitor. Plus one servant. [4]
