1837 Born in St Martin in the Fields, London[1], son of William Castle Lucy (1808-1861), a fishmonger[2] by his first wife; his second wife was Catherine Martha Lillingston nee Jennings (first married in 1837 in London) (widowed and then married a second time in Oxford in 1853).
1851 He was not living with his father, who had been widowed[3]

1861 His father died in Oxford; his estate was administered by his widow, Catherine Martha Lucy[4]
