William McKersie and Co

From Graces Guide

Malt whisky distillers, Albyn Distillery, Campbeltown

1830 The Albyn Distillery was established by William McKersie, formerly a partner in the Lochside Distillery. However, it is missing from the list of distillers in Pigot and Co's 1837 directory and 1830 is the date recorded by Alfred Barnard in 1886. The business was carried on by the founder's two sons John and William as William McKersie and Co.
