Motorcycle manufacturer, of High Street, 100 Holywell Street and Queen's Lane, Oxford
1902 After the end of the Morris and Cooper partnership, William Richard Morris bought stables in Holywell Street to manufacture motorcycles, where he traded as William R. Morris.
1903 Morris entered into a partnership, the Oxford Automobile and Cycle Agency, where he was works manager but it was soon bankrupt
A small bank loan allowed him to restart in business but his main interest had moved to motor cars.
1907 William Richard Morris, motor and cycle engineer, of 100 Holywell Street and 48 High Street, Oxford[1]
Morris sold the cycle business
1909 Morris set up the Morris Garages in Holywell Street.
